Day trip to Martha's Vineyard, July 4th 2004. We took the new high-speed ferry out of New Bedford, which was great. Only takes an hour, and you get a mini tour of the Elizabeth Islands to boot.

After landing at Oak Bluffs, we biked to Edgartown and had lunch at The Newes From America. Then some sightseeing/shopping/people watching, and we biked back to Oak Bluffs. Had some ice cream and walked around the harbor and gingerbread houses. Finally, had a cold one at the Lookout Tavern, which, as the name suggests, looks out over the steamship dock.
